This boldly struck example is choice and completely original, with speckled, burnt-gold toning on both sides (the heaviest color appears on the reverse around the mintmark). The 1932 Washington Quarter was supposed to be a one-year issue to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of George Washington.
